Sonnet 134

Sonnet 134
Laijon Liu 20160628

Somehow the deal is about property rights
To own, or owe, or a market value exchange
A contract between two parties, or a settlement
Sometimes acquisition becomes liquidation
A hostile takeover that end up a custody fight
That’s why we need lawyers and accountants
Let drunken poets muse their love sonnets
I’ve read break up and heartbroken verses
But never a great inspiring divorce poem: Praise Freedom!
Like diamond is forever but love is uncertain
In this floating life attachment comes with Boom!: Bills!
Or beggars can’t be choosers.
O Rose! O Rose!
Love got prickles too!
