Sonnet 131

Sonnet 131
Laijon Liu 20160625

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who is the fairest in the world?
My heart is dark, my mind cruel
But my beautiful appearance overrules
Your good faith is to praise and behold
How I wield my power to make love groan
Or you say I dare, I err, and I’m too bold
But I must capture the best for myself
The world may turn to frozen white
The rivers may surge bleeding red
But I will not change my mind I swear
My magic leopard spots never fade
Dark art saves us maybe, and
In this world how we progress
