Sonnet 112

Sonnet 112
Laijon Liu 20160605

You exist so to know the world exist too
And in love your existence gains purpose
Why should you care about the world anyway?
Everyone has his own world that he lives in
People’s voice, eyes silenced in transit noise
Their faces erased, everyone minds his own concern
Crying, singing, shouting… that’s just life
Things pass, and you won’t notice the nuance
A circular wall like citadel guards you
That private space is inviolable, you must protect
You don’t care if the sky is falling and world on fire
As long as you and your love together in your world
What world to you if you don’t exist?
What world to you if you never find love?
