sing of the night of dreams of splendor
thru the winter and embraces the spring
love is trust makes your world complete
and the vision of your faith you kindly give
the notes dangling in the wind and rain
harmony longs for your lover and love nest
higher and higher in the heart-shaped leaves
rise and fall between the branches and scales
love is blind, love is kind, love you must find
you would give the world or hell-bent on revenge
enchanting voice, melting, piercing and renders
rondo in the Summer’s day; solo of the Bright star.
Note:
The nightingale and the blind worm are a couple. The blind worm obviously loves and adores the night singer whole-heartily for her songs and her singing talent. I wonder her song must be so beautiful to make listener to die for to give everything. It’s a love, betrayal and revenge seeking short tale.
