I have a LG $40 phone with a camera and small 16gb ram, so I set the picture resolution to lowest to save space. I shot a few photos of one weekend soccer friend, Matt, and realized that there something interesting in the low resolution shots, which faces and object are blurry, the image constructed on light, shades, shapes of colors that draw observers focus on body poses and motion, most today's sports photos are in high resolution, thanks to the high tech, so everything is so detail like portrait selfies, so people view the photos mostly drawn to emotion, the facial expression, like watching movies; but watching movement like sport match and dance performance, most people get a distance that cannot make out the faces of the athletes and ballerinas, sort of like low resolution recording, people can only see and feel the body movement and poses. I kind of like the blurry things I guess, maybe I live in a high resolution world for too long, start reminisce the old savory, like the one the ball in the center photo, and another in the shooting pose, like some sort oil painting. I should submit those two to the Life Mag.
