My Three Good Works Pop Up First on Google

My Three Good Works that Pop Up First on Google Search Engine:

1.
50 Best Mandarin Songs
I collect music, it's kind of broad when people say they collect music, it's just too general term when we say we love or hoard music because the range is limitless, so I wouldn't dare to say I am an expert on Western, or Latin, or American, wouldn't dare to say Chinese, but I've spent most my years weekend days in Chinese book music stores and American ones, sorting and scanning all cd titles in 90s, coming to America that opened me a whole new world even for old Chinese folk and American Jazz combine art form that existed in 1920s, 30s, 40s, The Old Shanghai, the KMT the real Republic China ruled the Mainland, when all foreigners and locals hosted night clubs before the red commie disease wiped out all the good old and new, every time I listened the music that my grandma told me when I was a kid in 80s, she could only refrain a few lines and the some broken segments.... I've now regained them on my fingertips, I wished my grandma lived 10 more years, I would buy all of them I could get, I would get all on one mp3 player and she can listen to them. now my uncles, my mom, my dad, and my friends listen to them. the more I know how much were lost the more I hate Chinese commies. so I picked 50 best 1980-2010, and 50 best 1920-1960 from old shanghai to retreat period in Taiwan. now the my selection pop up on Google engine 1st for more than 5 years. check the photo.

2.
Kubla Khan Chinese Translation
There are a few mighty things I have done with my artistic Chinese language prowess, one of those is this. taken me 5 years to meditate, on and off, finally those numbers flows into me in a natural course. I have World's Journal editor letter response within 3 days praising this translation work that I finally feel all my years English wish-hunt and raw Chinese language art talent pays off in this poem. that I dedicate this to my mom and dad. all their suffering and mine not-shamefully to say that comes to fruition. the Chinese translation is in classic Chinese poetry music, precision in image and meaning, it's a Ming vase. it does not fail as other poem translation. I can lay dying supine. since April 2014, I loaded it up to my blog, the search result always pops up the 1st on google.

3.
To Be Or Not To Be Chinese Translation
If the Bard lived today and had taken a 10 year Chinese poetry research tour in China, somehow he set his eyes on my translation he would pick me to translate his work. I never know how Google search engine works, it's not my alley, but it seems Google knows the best translation when it reads one. my translation even tops the Wikipedia since it was loaded up Sep 2016. and after that, I planned to translate the whole Hamlet using 2 years time, I even put down my systematic English studies, a prominent poet given me a great feedback on this, same as a young teen I rehearse my best in front of the dressing mirror with daylong poses and all gowns to look for the best, and this translation touch me up, turns me into a swan at starry midnight, comparing to a sorry little hunchback at daytime. I asked my father, and he asked "aren't there enough Chinese translations?" so I put it on halt. maybe Chinese language people just don't care much spiritual things, as much as I do, or many sorry lives in past who agonized to create, their works are most lost, Li Po, Cao Xueqin, Sushi, name a few. many pass down it's not because people love them and treasure them as their prize, but by chance. so why bother to sing for someone don't like music? dance for people who only see the look? and it's also hard to find a job not to drain out my energy, so to support myself so I can devout my off work hours to do something that really worth. I guess this translation is the mount-top view of Hamlet in Chinese, that answers to scholars that great poem Can Be Translated, people born and raised of different language can understand and see true magnificence of all the content only if the society of its culture nurtures its talents and in time some kids will take a pen, write on the blank page, makes that blank page a swan lake stage, in time a pair little hands will hold a chisel to bring life out of the stone, in time not only billionaires aiming at stars, but most of the poor neighborhood kids can all look up dream and certain their dream to be true. in time somewhere some Chinese kids read my two translations and be inspired and their parents and well-civilized really developed Chinese society will stand fully support their talents to finish what I have started at that top level. so now, it's only one peak-view of the whole climb. see attachment.

Michelangelo's David

Michelangelo's David
Laijon Liu 20190704

there's beauty in the bulky rock
that's larger than life

an image of youth and divine
grows out of the marble block

hands of the maker, gently chisel
smooth the rough edges and corners

I've heard the music, have you?
Those songs that shepherd boy sings

he's calling to be set free
calling to be brave, and to stand out!

Note:
new insights on the David, as the sculptor sees the discarded block, as God sees his little shepherd boy David who his father and brothers have never noticed, both the Bible tale and Michelangelo's David share similarity. imagine, Mozart who had father not musician, or never listened to his son; or Beethoven's father never pushed him that hard; imagine, all of us, people who ordinary because we are raised in an ordinary society who only cut out to work for Corporal America at $7.95/hr on rotating shifts every two weeks? Imagine we never have had teachers who always always focus on discovery and development of pupils' talents? Imagine Michelangelo's nanny hubby were not a stone cutter.... could he be cut out for a sculptor? could he pick up what was an leftover by 2 great sculptors? and make that miracle erect till today, and that image projects in Western art consciousness? for David in the biblical time, Michelangelo, and that marble block, they are lucky. it's truly a miracle we keep telling the David Goliath story, a miracle to gawk at the statue, a miracle to be immersed into all those immense music anytime we want to. and also feel sorry we don't know how many great kids never been discovered and developed, screwed by our market driven society with the great help of politicians. and we've never seriously asked ourselves why? right now, we only have great billionaires who make majority of their employees zombies and walking dead, majority people with all kinds of unique talents are struggling too hard that they have no time and energy to hone their skill and to study and to create! this society never produces great poets, artists, writers, dramatists, musicians... we only see those stupid idiots flashing their gadget trash that they steal some nobody's ideas standing on the spotlight stage like they are gods, they have made something. or chiseling the system and low-wage workers nationwide in chain-corporal size as their brag. the talents either have to give up or struggle hard, live on the verge of suicide life to somehow create something.
